Biography: Dr. Steven Sheng was born in Beijing, China, and immigrated to the United States as a child, where he grew up on Long Island, New York. After completing his primary education, Dr. Sheng went on to George Washington University where he completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy while also obtaining a minor in Biological Sciences. After his undergraduate program, Dr. Sheng went on to serve in the New York Teaching Fellows program, where he was an educator in New York City for two years. Dr. Sheng completed the program while earning his Masters in Education from Queens College. Dr. Sheng then attended the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he completed his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Sheng completed his residency as a Chief Resident at The Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, New York.Dr. Sheng is committed to providing compassionate and high-quality care in both general and high-risk obstetrics. Dr. Sheng also provides a wide range of gynecological care, including annual exams, preventative care visits, early screening, infertility counseling, treatment of sexually transmitted infections, and contraceptive management. His scope of practice also includes the management of cervical, vulvar, uterine, and ovarian pathology; endometriosis; fibroids; ovarian cysts; and abnormal pap smears.Dr. Sheng has admitting privileges and performs deliveries and minimally invasive procedures at NewYork-Presybterian Lower Manhattan Hospital. Dr. Sheng is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.

Biography: Dr. Denise Howard grew up in Columbus, Mississippi. She did herundergraduate work at the University of Mississippi and then attended JohnsHopkins receiving a MD, MPH in 1993. She completed a residency in Obstetricsand Gynecology at the University of Pittsburgh's Magee Women's Hospital in 1997and then a fellowship in Urogynecology at the University of Michigan. Dr.Howard remained on faculty there until 2001 when she relocated to the Atlanta areawhere she was in private practice until 2010. She and her family moved to theMiddle East where she worked in various leadership positions in Abu Dhabi andDoha before returning to the U.S. at the end of 2019. Most recently she was the Chief of Gynecology for Geisinger Health System inDanville, Pennsylvania where she also had a faculty appointment at the medicalschool and served as core faculty for the residency program. She is BoardCertified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American Collegeof Obstetricians and Gynecologists and a Certified Physician Executive. She isalso a member of the American Urogynecologic Society, Society of GynecologicSurgeons, and the American Association for Physician Leadership. Dr. Howard is committed to ensuring every woman receives quality care.
