Biography: Dr. Carl Bischoff is a graduate of Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Bischoff completed his Urology residency at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida, and his Urologic Oncology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Dr. Bischoff practices general urology with a focus on urologic oncology. He has a special interest in robotic and laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of urologic cancers as well as reconstructive surgery. Dr. Bischoff has been chosen to train on the daVinci SP Surgical System – a state-of-the-art robotic system that reduces surgical access to one incision, while allowing 360 degree maneuverability and an expanded range of surgical instruments. Carl Bischoff serves as the Chief of robotic surgery at Cedar Park Regional Medical Center and Arise Austin Medical center. He enjoys living in Austin with his wife, Emily, and their four children, Emma Claire, Annaliese, Madeline, and Wyatt. Dr. Bischoff has been recognized as a ``Top Doctor`` under the category of Urology in the January 2019 edition of Austin Monthly Magazine. He also received this designation in 2014, 2015, 2017 and 2018. Carl Bischoff is seeing patients at our Round Rock #1 and Cedar Park locations.
