Biography: Preston Waldrop, MD, FAAOS, a board-certified and fellowship trained surgeon with LewisGale Physicians in Salem, Virginia has provided care to residents in the Roanoke Valley for more than 32 years. He grew up in Salem and returned with his family in 1991 to practice orthopedics. Dr. Waldrop's medical training began at the University of Virginia, followed by orthopedic training at Emory University in Atlanta. To further his knowledge in orthopedics, Dr. Waldrop participated in a fellowship in shoulder/sports medicine at the University of Miami.
