Biography: Robert L. Gustofson, M.D., a Board Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, joined the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine medical team in 2006. He completed his medical training at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida in 1999 and conducted his residency as the administrative Chief Resident in obstetrics and gynecology at the University of North Carolina Hospitals in 2003. He then pursued a subspecialty fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. In addition, he served as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences from 2003 – 2006. During his training, he received multiple scholarships for academic and clinical achievements; numerous awards for medical student and resident education; and recognition for excellence in clinical research. He remains actively involved in clinical research to advance the field of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Gustofson has published several peer-reviewed journal articles on novel ovarian stimulation protocols and endometriosis. Additionally, he has presented at national meetings on a wide variety of topics including ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome and clinical predictors of assisted reproductive technology success. Dr. Gustofson is certified in robotic surgery with da Vinci Robotic system.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Althea O Shaughnessy prioritizes two important aspects in her patients care, making them feel comfortable and well educated. Her goal is for patients to feel in control of their own fertility journey, to know they are in the driver's seat and can stop, change or shift directions at any time based on their comfort level. She knows the importance of providing individualized patient care, not a one size fits all model.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Surrey feels that fertility care must be individualized to the needs of each patient both from a medical and personal perspective. He feels that information and options should be provided in a caring, yet honest and straightforward fashion so that the best decisions can be made for each individual. Each patient is treated as a partner in a journey together to achieve the best possible outcomes of building or growing a family.

Care Philosophy: My goal for patients is to be successful in accomplishing their desire for parenthood. This is achieved by providing each patient a comprehensive evaluation of his/her specific infertility diagnosis, applying the most advanced reproductive technologies and developing a customized treatment plan. I strive to communicate this information is a thoughtful and approachable manner so patients are well informed and confident in their care.

Biography: Dr. Lauren Ross Ehrhart joined the Colorado Center for Reproductive Medicine in September of 2016 and is board-certified in both reproductive endocrinology and infertility and obstetrics and gynecology. Dr. Ross Ehrhart has numerous publications and presentations in a diverse range of research which have earned her national recognition. This includes work in fertility preservation, egg donation, treatment of women with diminished ovarian reserve, and vitamin D supplementation. Dr. Ross Ehrhart happily returns to Denver having been trained in all areas of assisted reproductive technologies including in vitro fertilization, superovulation, intrauterine insemination, and reproductive surgeries. She has a particular interest in diminished ovarian reserve, fertility preservation including elective egg freezing, and third party reproduction.

Care Philosophy: To provide compassionate, evidence based, patient-centered reproductive medical care, takig each patient's unique medical and social situation into consideration. I believe it is important to discuss family planning goals (current and future) when formulating a treatment plan to make sure we do our best to create a plan that is in line with a patient's values and allows the best odds for current (and future) children.
