Biography: Evan P. Trupia, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. Dr. Trupia is an expert in advanced operative and non-operative care for issues of the hand and upper extremity, utilizing the latest surgical techniques, including minimally invasive arthroscopy and modern methods to reconstruct or replace arthritic joints. He also cares for fractures and general orthopedic trauma of the upper and lower extremities. After receiving a BS in Biology from Loyola University, Dr. Trupia graduated from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. He completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Columbia University Medical Center and his fellowship in surgery of the hand and upper extremity at New York University Hospital for Joint Diseases. Dr. Trupia delivers lectures to local and national audiences, including the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, and his medical illustrations have been published in numerous scientific texts and journals.

Biography: Nicole S. Belkin, MD, an orthopedic surgeon, sports medicine specialist with expertise in non-operative and operative treatment of injuries and conditions affecting the knee, shoulder elbow, and hip. Dr. Belkin earned her medical degree from the University of Florida School of Medicine and completed her residency in Orthopedic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania. She conducted laboratory research for an additional year at the university and won the Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation's Resident Clinician Scientist Award. Her research received both national and international recognition. Dr. Belkin completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. Through this advanced training, she gained experience treating articular cartilage injuries, meniscus injury and meniscus deficiency, ligament reconstruction, patellofemoral conditions, early arthritis of the knee, shoulder dislocations and separations, rotator cuff tears, shoulder arthritis, elbow injuries and hip impingement. She is an expert in minimally invasive and arthroscopic techniques and shoulder replacements. Her clinical focus is in the treatment of ligament, cartilage, meniscus and patellofemoral injuries of the knee; rotator cuff and labrum injuries and arthritis of the shoulder; injuries and overuse conditions of the elbow and labrum injuries and impingement of the hip. Biography: Margaret Vaughan, MD, FACP is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Geriatric Medicine practicing at New York Presbyterian Medical Group Hudson Valley. She graduated from Cornell University and then earned her doctorate in medicine at SUNY Health Science Center Medical School in Syracuse, New York. She served her internship and residency in internal medicine at St. Vincents Catholic Medical Center as well as anesthesia residency at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. She completed her fellowship in Geriatric Medicine at St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Center in Manhattan. She has served as clinical preceptor for medical students for New York Medical College in Valhalla. She's a member of the American Medical Association and American College of Physicians. She serves on several committees for the Medical Society of the State of New York.
