I would highly recommend her to everyone I know
Dr Varghese is always professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable. I have been a patient for several years, and have reocommended her to several family members. She is always on top of my care, and adjusts my medications if needed. Her office staff is friendly and courteous. It is a pleasure to see her every 3 months for my visit, and will continue to recommend her to everyone who needs a great doctor!!!!

My experience with Dr. Varghese
After I acquired an autoimmune disease at 61 my primary doctor referred me to Dr. Varghese. Dr. Varghese explained to me the treatment options and answered all my questions. She is an excellent physician, knowledgeable and caring. When I was treated for a different condition by a nephrologist, Dr. Varghese called after office hours to remind me to readjust the medications. She negotiated with insurance an additional bone density test to monitor my osteoporosis progression while on steroids. Dr. Varghese is a highly professional doctor and a warm and compassionate human being. I could not imagine getting better care. I am happy to recommend her.

When I think of all the patients she sees and is able to recall where I work, what I'm working on at home it really is remarkable. Outstanding care
Dr. Varghese has been treating me for temporal arteritis, which if not successfully diagnosed and treated immediately can lead to sudden blindness. Dr. Varghese has carefully and continuous monitored my treatment during the last 18 months, first with steroids and then with a new drug called Actemera (tocilizumab) in order to allow me to gradually taper off the steroids with their debilitating affects. Under her care, Dr. Varghese presriberd repeated blood tests and bone-density scans. Dr. Varghese was able to negotiate with my healthcare insurance to lower the cost of weekly injections of Actemera from $500 each to a $5.00 co-pay. I feel that her professional care is truly outstanding.

Doctor Varghese is a knowledgeable and caring doctor. She takes time to actually listen to your concerns while analyzing your ailment and creates a treatment program that is unique to your needs. Above all, Doctor Varghese is the most ethical doctor I have ever met. I highly recommend Doctor Anju Varghese-Charalel.

Dr. Varghese has been wonderful for me as a patient with a newly diagnosed auto immune disease and a lot of concerns. Beware of this practice. Office staff disorganized, demonstrate inability to communicate effectively . I had experience of leaving voice mails, requesting call backs and never received call backs only to call and speak to 3 different receptionists on 3 different occasions to find out no one picked up any if the voice mails over a course of a week . Furthermore, Dr Varghese was not informed if the voice mails I left. I found Dr. Varghese to be unclear in her communicating information, as well as being rude to me win front of other patients in the waiting area. She has no bedside manner, and often blamed me, the patient . She is not very empathetic or patient centered.

Please heed warning from all the 1 star reviews - Her office is the most disorganized experience I have ever had. Her lack of preparedness during my consult was unbelievable. Complete negligence towards my issue that I'm trying to figure out. Would never recommend.
