Biography: Dr. Srinivasan completed her undergraduate studies at M.S. University of Baroda, India, receiving the Susmita Patel Memorial Gold Medal, and went on to complete a 3 year residency in Internal Medicine at the same institution. She then moved to the US, completed her neurology residency at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School. Following her residency, she completed a Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at Brigham and Women's Hospital. Shen then joined the faculty at Columbia University as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Neurology in 2011. She is the director of the Vanderbilt Epilepsy Clinic at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital and is very closely involved in epilepsy fellow education and training. Her areas of focus include treatment of refractory epilepsy including epilepsy surgery and neuromodulation.

Biography: Dr. Sarah Flanagan Wesley graduated from medical school at the Royal College of Surgeons in Dublin, followed by residency in adult neurology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and then fellowship in neuroimmunology at the Yale School of Medicine. Dr. Wesley was on faculty at Yale as an Assistant Professor of Neurology in the neuroimmunology subdivision until joining faculty at Columbia in 2020. Dr. Wesley treats a range of neuroimmunological and autoimmune neurological conditions, including various forms of autoimmune encephalitis, CNS vasculitis, neuro-rheumatological conditions, multiple sclerosis, and immune-related toxicity to cancer treatments. Dr. Wesley serves as a lead for Columbia's neurological immunotoxicity program, conducting clinical and translational research on the mechanisms and management of neurological side effects to cancer treatments, such as cancer immune checkpoint inhibitors and CAR T-cell therapy.

Biography: Peter C. Pan, MD is a board-certified assistant professor of neurology in the Division of Neuro-Oncology. He specializes in the treatment of brain tumors. He studied molecular biology and neurobiology at the University of California Berkeley, medicine at the State University of New York Downstate, and clinical neurology residency at the University of California Davis. He completed subspecialty training in Neuro-Oncology at NewYork-Presbyterian / Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Weill Cornell Medical Center.

Biography: Karen Bell is a Professor of Neurology at Columbia University Medical Center, in the Taub Institute for Research on Alzheimer's Disease and the Aging Brain and the GH Sergievsky Center. A Bronx native who graduated from New York University, and the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, she completed internship in internal medicine at Harlem Hospital Center and neurology residency at The Neurological Institute at Columbia University, College of Physicians and Surgeons. After completing a fellowship in Behavioral Neurology, she focused her clinical and research efforts to specialize on the evaluation and treatment of neurodegenerative cognitive disorders at the Taub Institute. As the Director of the Education Core of the Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at Columbia University, she has developed physician and community education programs. She is an active member of the American Academy of Neurology and the National Medical Association, serving on various subcommittees. She is an external advisor to National Medical Association's Project I.M.P.A.C.T. initiative. She also serves on multiple NINDS Data Safety Monitoring Boards and has been a member of the Columbia University Medical Center Institutional Review Board since 2003. She was appointed to the New York State Council on Graduate Medical Education (NYSCOGME) by Governor Paterson in 2009 and chairs the NYS COGME Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program Workgroup. She has participated as a mentor in the Harlem Children Society science program for many years.
