Biography: Dr. Soomro is an Interventional Neurologist at Texas Stroke Institute (TSI). She joined TSI in July of 2018 as an Interventional Neurology fellow and completed fellowship in July of 2020. She did her Neurology residency training at Saint Louis University and subsequently finished two years of Vascular Neurology fellowship combined with National Institute of Health funded research year at University of Texas Health Sciences in Houston. Dr. Soomro strives on practicing patient centered care and incorporates evidence based medicine in her clinical decision making.

Biography: Dr. Osman Mir is a vascular and interventional neurologist in Dallas, Texas. He received his medical degree from Aga Khan University Medical College in 2000 and has been in practice for 17 years. He also speaks Multiple languages including Urdu, Hindi and Punjabi. Dr. Mir specializes in interventional neurology and vascular neurology and is experienced in adult and pediatric cerebral and spinal angiography, including a wide range of diagnostic/ interventional endovascular procedures and percutaneous spinal procedures. He is skilled in prehospital and acute stroke diagnosis and management, interpretation of noninvasive neuroimaging, telestroke assessments, and secondary stroke prevention and is passionate about teaching and mentoring.
