Narcolepsy, Sleep Paralysis
Dr McMichael has been treating me since 1998. I was having sleep paralysis at night and could not stay awake during the day. I was unaware of what was going on and I was afraid to tell my loved ones about the frequent sleep paralysis. I was also not able to stay awake during the day. After my pcp performed exams, did my blood work and found all of that normal he referred me to Dr. McMichael. Dr McMichael ordered sleep studies on me which showed I go into REM sleep in 3 minutes. Dr. McMichael knew what was going on with me and he knew exactly how to treat it. I have had a better quality of life as a result. Thank you Dr. McMichael

Maybe I caught him on a bad day. He seemed detached and couldn't concentrate on the issue of sleep apnea. Looking for another doctor.

He is pretty good in my opinion. Mostly listens to you when you come in. Spends most of this time typing notes on the computer.. Once I felt like I needed help with anxiety and he wouldn't provide help with out seeing me..when he knew I was having trouble and had a past of it. But once I saw him he helped me and showed me some ways I could take care of it. But all in all a good doctor in my opinion.

Dr. McMichael is excellent. He really listened to me. He was very kind and gave me a lot of information about what he thought was my problem. He sent me to get extensive MRI and X-rays and found my problem. His staff is great and very helpful. I would highly recommend him!!
