Biography: Dr. Fayad grew up in Detroit MI. He studied BioMedical Physics at Wayne State University in Detroit MI. His love for science and helping others inspired him to pursue a career in medicine at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine in East Lansing MI. He then completed 4 years of post graduate training at Ascension Oakland Macomb Hospital - Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine Neurology Residency. His strong interest in cerebral-vascular disorders and stroke led him to pursue a 3 year fellowship in Vascular Neurology and Interventional Neuroradiology at University of Connecticut and Hartford Hospital in Hartford CT.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Shanker Dixit and his team of qualified nurses, assistants, and techs focus on the individual patient and their family to provide the best treatment and care. His office offers technology including EMG, EEG, ambulatory video EEG and evoked potentials. There is a new state-of-the-art infusion center for treatment of Multiple Sclerosis, Myasthenia Gravis, CIDP, and some other auto-immune conditions.
