I went to see Dr. Al-Hawari for back and leg pain after having back surgery and had appointments to do shots and then possibly nerve ablation but after that happened, I had an incident where I was losing my eyesight off and on and my left eye and I had gone to the eye Doctor Who said it was not my eye it was vascular . The eye doctor said I needed to see a neurologist so I called Dr. Hawari’s office and even though he’s not the type of neurologist, I needed they let me make an appointment and I went in to see him. He ordered the tests . I got the results the next day and I was in surgery 10 days later because I had a totally occluded left carotid artery. His quick action saved me and my eyesight!

I never met Dr Hawarey, but I had 2 appointments with Kelly, his nurse practitioner. The second appointment she said she would prescribe something for me. It wasn't covered by me insurance, so I asked for another one that was. Then I found out that it was covered at another pharmacy and in a different amount, which is the amount she said I would be taking (10 pills). She had put in the prescription for a pack, which was 21 pills and not covered by my insurance. I called and told them that. I was told they would leave her a note. The next day they had not contacted the pharmacy with the right size prescription. I called them again. The person I talked to said she would leave another note. The next day they still had not sent in the right prescription. Then they told me to get another doctor to send it in. She refused to do it! Have you ever heard of anything so rude? Meanwhile I was having a migraine every single day. She obviously doesn't care anything about her patients.

I went to Dr Al-Hawarey on a referral. I was able to get in quickly. I knew I had a serious issue. Dr. Al-Hawarey wasted no time in setting up scans and blood work to determine my problem. Although It was found do be a very rare unrelated to neurology, his quick action and attention got me quickly to the correct specialist. I found him very kind and attentive to me and showed a true concern about my health. He did a top notch job helping me and I truly believe his concern minimized the severity of my illness.
