Biography: Dr. Gerald Luciani was born in Connecticut and grew up in a home built by his father on a piece of land that was once part of his grandfather's cattle pasture. Dr. Luciani spent his childhood riding horses, fishing, camping, playing hockey and running around with dozens of cousins. After graduating from Fairfield University, Dr. Luciani moved to the tiny island of Rota, 40 miles North of Guam in the South Pacific, where he developed the island's first Special Education program, taught Biology and worked part time for a Scuba Diving shop. Dr. Luciani spent three fantastic years on Rota diving, spear fishing, sport fishing and exploring the jungle and beaches. Dr. Luciani lived in a small tin house that was fairly rustic but was on the beach overlooking the Pacific Ocean and went to sleep to the sound of the waves hitting the beach each night.When Dr. Luciani moved back to the states, he began his pre-medicine studies at the University of Texas in Arlington. Dr. Luciani entered medical school at the University of Texas, Southwestern in Dallas on a full scholarship from the United States Air Force. Dr. Luciani started medical school with the intention of becoming a Family Physician, but at the beginning of his fourth year, while doing a rotation in OB/GYN, found it was the happiest field of medicine. He was largely influenced by his mother who was a registered nurse and spent the last twenty years of her career teaching Preparation for Child Birth. Dr. Luciani grew up hearing her stories about how amazing the birth process was. He did his residency training in OB/GYN at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth where he served as the Administrative Chief Resident in his final year. Dr. Luciani then went on Active Duty with the USAF assigned to Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio but his duties were at Darnall Army Hospital at Fort Hood which, at the time, was the busiest Department of Defense Labor and Delivery service in the military. He worked with some of the finest physicians, midwives and nurses in the world, taking care of the greatest group of people it has ever been his honor to serve. Dr. Luciani also served as Chief of Gynecology Services at Darnall from 2002-2004. Upon ending his tour on active duty, he moved to Van Alstyne and began private practice in Sherman. In 2006, after eighteen months in Sherman, Dr. Luciani decided to move to McKinney in order to practice in a hospital with a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.Dr. Luciani's philosophy about being a physician is very simple; he believes in taking care of his patients the way he would want someone to take care of his wife, mother or daughter. He welcomes questions and spend a great deal of time explaining what patients can expect during pregnancy through delivery and with various medical and surgical treatments. Dr. Luciani believes a surgeon is responsible for every drop of blood a patient loses during surgery and strive to perform surgery with complete attention to every detail. Dr. Luciani is particularly fond of minimally invasive surgery utilizing the daVinci Robotic Surgical System, because patients heal faster and therefore are able to get back to their lives in the shortest possible time.Dr. Luciani lives with his wife, who is his soulmate. Dr. Luciani and his wife, Rachel, spend most of their free time riding and taking care of their horses, but now find the majority of our time is spent trying to keep up with their son and daughter. Dr. Luciani also has dogs, four horses and lives in a whirlwind of, near constant, activity, but would also not have it any other way.

Biography: Dr. Cesar Reyes began Comprehensive OB/GYN as a sole provider in 2006. When he started his practice, he envisioned a growing community where he could provide stellar health care to women it appears the choice was the right one. Dr. Reyes looks forward to continuing to provide unmatched health care to his patients and is looking forward to someday being able to deliver a baby of the babies that he has delivered.Dr. Reyes grew up, you may say, in an OB/GYN medical office. His father is an OB/GYN. Dr. Reyes oftened waited in his father's office and at the hospital for him to finish seeing patients. He was interested in medicine and his experiences growing up led Dr. Reyes to choose women's healthcare. While in school, sciences such as biology and anatomy came naturally to Dr. Reyes it just made sense. His high school classmates all wrote in his yearbook that he would someday become a doctor it happened to be obvious to his classmates as well.Dr. Reyes grew up in Texas with three brothers and one sister. In addition to his father, one brother, sister, his sister-in-law, as his wife, Dr. Renee Chan, all OB/GYN's. Dr. Reyes' family has been a part of more than 30,000 deliveries! His other brother is a dentist locally in the McKinney area. Medicine and taking care of people seems to be a family tradition.Dr. Reyes attended a university and medical school that has been ranked by US News and World report as one of the country's best. While at St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO, he earned several awards for excellence and was honored by being selected to serve as the Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Reyes was also actively engaged in research and studied the effects of both diabetic and hypertensive disorders on fetal growth patterns during pregnancy.Dr. Reyes believes it is important for his patients to know that he truly takes his work seriously. He takes his time to ensure patients receive excellent care and they understand their course of treatment. Dr. Reyes stays on top of current trends and treatments to provide his patients with the latest and greatest that medical science has to offer, so they have the best possible outcomes. Dr. Reyes' believes in following through with the care offered to patients this is how he practices medicine. Biography: Dr. Renee L. Chan completed her undergraduate degree at the University of California at Santa Barbara with Summa Cum Laude honors in Biopsychology with a minor in Exercise and Health Sciences. She later attended Saint Louis University School of Medicine where she completed both her medical degree and residency training in obstetrics and gynecology. Her training encompassed extensive management of both routine and high-risk pregnancies as well as the most up to date surgical procedures such as total laparoscopic hysterectomies, endometrial ablations, sling procedures for urinary incontinence and pelvic reconstruction. Dr. Chan received the Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures Award by Saint Louis University sponsored by the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists. Dr. Chan is excited to bring the latest innovative techniques in minimally invasive surgery to her patients.Outside of medicine, Dr. Chan's interests include; professional/amateur ballroom dancing, rock climbing, hiking, traveling, playing the piano and cooking.

Biography: Dr. Alyssa Kirsch grew up in Grapevine where she played softball at Grapevine High School. She was recruited to play collegiate softball at West Texas A&M University and was named an NCAA Athletic and Academic All-American and was a part of winning the NCAA Division II National Softball Championship. During her time at West Texas A&M University she completed her pre-medicine prerequisites while graduating with a dual degree in Biology and Biochemistry with summa cum lade honors. Dr. Kirsch then attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where she completed medical school and OBGYN residency while obtaining AOA honors.Her other interests include spending time with family, walking her dogs and watching baseball.

Biography: Dr. Valenti is a native of Buffalo, NY and has lived in North Texas since 1998. He has twin boys, Oliver and Nicolas. Dr. Valenti attended medical school at State University of New York at Buffalo where he graduated with Honors, and completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Children's Hospital of Buffalo. Prior to medical school he worked on a Master's degree in Immunology while conducting cancer research at Roswell Park Cancer Institute.Dr. Valenti is Board Certified and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. His appointments include Past President of the Denton County Medical Society, twice past Chairman of the OB/GYN Department of Denton Regional Medical Center, past Chief of Staff of North Texas Hospital, and Immediate Past Chairman of the Council on Socioeconomics for the Texas Medical Association. He holds a seat on the Board of Directors of The Texas Medical Association, The Physician Foundation and Lone Star AllianceDr. Valenti is a robotic trained minimally-invasive gynecologic surgeon and national proctor, specializing in endometriosis, advanced pelvic and reconstructive surgery. He is a COEMIG (Center of Excellence for Minimally Invasive Gynecology) accredited Surgeon as well.Dr. Valenti enjoys working with the non-profit Physicians Foundation to promote Poverty as a social determinant of healthcare. He also enjoys playing with his dogs and working on his vintage Mercury Cougars.

Biography: Dr. Tracy Elliott is a cum laude graduate of Tulane University in New Orleans with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and Biology. She completed her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston where she received the Outstanding Medical Student in Obstetrics and Gynecology award in 1997. Dr. Elliott received her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Kansas in Wichita where she served as administrative chief resident. She has been in Private Practice since 2002 and has been practicing in Frisco since 2004. In addition to her busy medical practice, Dr. Elliott has worked hard to build the hospital OB/GYN services at the places she has worked. Initially at Centennial Medical Center where she served in many roles including Chairman of the OB/GYN Department and Chief of the Medical staff, and now at Medical City Frisco where she has served as Chairman of the OB/GYN Department, Maternal Medical Director, and currently serves as the Chairman of the Campus Medical Committee. She feels very strongly about providing the best care possible for her patients. This starts with exceptional care in the office where patients are treated with compassion and their needs are addressed from start to finish including support from the office staff and ancillary services like lab and imaging. It continues into the hospital setting, where she works with the administrators and the nurses to make sure all the patient's needs are met in the most caring and technologically advanced setting possible. She chose to be an OB/GYN because she loves being able to take care of her patients through multiple phases of their lives, from early contraceptive needs, to pregnancy care, to menopausal issues. She also loves delivering babies and doing surgery, which provide excitement and challenges not seen in the office. When Dr. Elliott is not in the office, she loves spending time with her family and her dogs. She enjoys exercising, traveling, fishing, and art projects as her favorite leisure activities.

Biography: Dr. Callejas is a graduate of Texas A&M University. She completed her medical education at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and her specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Amarillo, where she served as administrative Chief Resident.Her practice philosophy is to to treat each woman with the same compassion and understanding as she would her own sister, mother, daughter or friend. She strives to educate her patients so they can make informed decisions about their health and obtain the best possible outcomes for themselves, their babies and their families. Dr. Callejas enjoys all aspects of caring for women but has a special interest in obstetrics and the care of teens.She is married and mother to two little boys and a girl Boxer. She enjoys spending time with her close-knit extended family, traveling, reading, cooking and dancing.

Biography: Dr. Meagan R. Schneiderman grew up in Lexington, MA. She completed her undergraduate degree at Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA, with a major in Sociology and minor in Spanish while simultaneously fulfilling pre-medicine requirements. She later attended Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, WI, where she received her medical degree. She then went on to do her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH, which provided well-rounded training in the field with an emphasis on minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Schneiderman received the Special Excellence in Endoscopic Procedures Award during her residency.Outside of medicine, Dr. Schneiderman's interests include traveling, kayaking, container gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time with her husband and their pug.
