Biography: Mohamad Amer Alaiti, MD, FACC joined North Texas Heart Center in 2022. Prior to joining North Texas Heart Center, he took a faculty position as Assistant Professor at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas VA Medical Center 2019-2022. Dr. Alaiti received his advanced clinical training in Cardiovascular Medicine, and three additional years of advanced fellowships training in Cardiac CT and Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Interventional Cardiology, and Advanced Interventional Cardiology fellowships in mechanical circulatory support, high risk coronary intervention, peripheral interventions, and structural and valvular interventions at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University, Cleveland, Ohio. He completed research fellowship at the Case Cardiovascular Research Institute, Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland Ohio, studying cellular and molecular mechanisms of angiogenesis, arteriogenesis, and cardiac hypertrophy in the laboratory of the renowned physician-scientist Dr. Mukesh Jain, MD.Dr. Alaiti is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Echocardiography, Cardiac CT, and Interventional Cardiology. Biography: Dr. David Musselman joined North Texas Heart Center in 1992 and has served as its President and Managing Physician 1998-2013. He received his medical degree in 1986 from the University of Maryland, where he is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He completed his residency in Internal Medicine and fellowships in Cardiovascular Diseases at the University of North Carolina Hospitals, Chapel Hill, where he received the Robert L. Ney Award as the outstanding medical resident. Dr. Musselman is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology and Nuclear Cardiology. He specializes in complex interventional cardiology procedures, nuclear cardiology and echocardiography. Dr. Musselman enjoys sailing, bicycling, tennis, skiing and travel and is an avid bird watcher. He lives in Dallas with his wife and 3 children.

Biography: Dr. Rich Guerra is a native of California and a graduate of Harvard University. He subsequently received his medical degree at the University of California, San Francisco. His internship and residency were at UCSF, followed by Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship at Stanford University and Interventional Cardiology Fellowship at Vanderbilt University. He then took a faculty position at the University of Iowa where was as an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine and an active interventional cardiologist for four years. Subsequently, he joined the Lovelace Cardiology group in Albuquerque, NM and was also on the clinical faculty of the University of New Mexico. He joined North Texas Heart Center in 2004 and currently serves as the Chief of Cardiology for the Medical Center of McKinney. Dr. Guerra is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology. The teaching skills of Dr. Guerra were recognized and honored with the Cardiology Fellows Training Award at the University of Iowa. He enjoys photography, scuba diving and building and flying experimental aircraft. Dr. Guerra has been named to Texas Super Doctors.

Biography: Dr. Srinivas Yallapragada is an Interventional Cardiologist with expertise in coronary peripheral & structural heart disease. He holds board Certifications in Interventional Cardiology, General Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, and Echocardiography, and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation. Dr. Yallapragada pursued his undergraduate studies at Austin College in Sherman, Texas where he graduated with honors with a Major in Biology and Minor in Spanish. He then pursued his Medical Degree at Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. Following this he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Loyola University Medical Center in Chicago, IL, and served as an Associate Chief Resident during his final year of training there. He then completed fellowships in Cardiology, and Interventional Cardiology at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Yallapragada is a native of the DFW area, and he is pleased to provide comprehensive cardiovascular care for patients in his home town. He will primarily practice at our locations in Dallas and Las Colinas but will also be active at Medical City Dallas and Medical City McKinney.
