Biography: Edward Griffin, MD, FACP, is a board-certified internalmedicine physician with LewisGale Physicians in Salem, Virginia. He is anattending physician at an academic medicine clinic as part of the InternalMedicine Residency Program affiliated with LewisGale Medical Center. In thisrole, Dr. Glontz supervises resident physicians, training them to be the nextgeneration of physician leaders. Dr. Griffin graduated from Louisiana State University Schoolof Medicine. He continued his education with an internship and residency, both ininternal medicine, at University of Tennessee, Baptist Memorial Hospital inMemphis, Tennessee. Dr. Griffin is board-certified by, and a diplomateof, the American Board of Internal Medicine. He is a Fellow of the AmericanCollege of Physicians. Immediately prior to joining LewisGale Physicians, Dr.Griffin served as an Associate Professor of Medicine at Louisiana StateUniversity in Shreveport, Louisiana.
