Dr. Edward Griffin, MD

Worst 'Dr.' ever. Recently moved from out of state and had my 1st vist with him. 3 yrs of a diagnosis and same treatment with a spine and neck specialist and and another dr and Dr Griffin decides to say it was wrong and nothing was wrong with me other than muscle pain. For almost 3 yrs I have managed, now this unprofessional 'Dr' tells me something different without sending me to a spine expert or for an MRI before making his claims and leaving without proper treatment. HE REFUSED my meds of 3 years!!! Never again would I ever see him as a 'professional', not even on my deathbed! He even began to walkout of the room AS I WAS TALKING. He needs to just retire bc he has no bed side manners or empathy and should not be practicing.

Dr Griffin is condescending, inpatient, did not listen to any of my problems and he could care less about anything I had to say in my visit. Worst physician I have ever come across.

Dr Griffin abruptly withdrew a pain prescription for my mother. Protocol is for her to taper off this medicine but he would not allow this. He instead wrongly diagnosed my mother and prescribed her an ineffective medicine. She went through severe withdrawal at age 77 and the new medicine did not help at all. The worst part of this is that he is in a teaching role at Lewis-Gale. The resident actually called my mother and apologized profusely. He should have his license revoked- maybe it is in others states.
