Care Philosophy: I like to make sure my patients are educated to make their own decisions but at the same to be their guide though a tricky health care system. I have a very laid-back demeanor but take my patients health and concerns very seriously. I have a philosophy of "lowest effective dose" when it comes to medications and treatments to make sure I am treating my patient's symptoms/concerns without causing unnecessary side effects that can sometimes be more dangerous than the original concern.

Biography: Dr. Johnson was born and raised in Maryville, TN. He attended the University of Tennessee where he received a B.S. in Biology. Dr. Johnson went on to complete his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine in Spartanburg, SC. His residency was done at the University of Kentucky where he was Chief Resident.He enjoys sports and being outdoors whenever possible as well as spending time with family and friends.

Care Philosophy: Practicing medicine with care and knowledge is my passion. I highly value and adore the fact that I am privileged in a position where patients can trust me and partner with me for their health and well being. Prevention of disease is my goal for all my patients. Together, we can figure it out :)
