Biography: Dr. Rosenthal received his undergraduate education and Master's degree from Rutgers University and his Doctor of Medicine from the State University of New York. He interned and took his residency in Internal Medicine at Kings County Hospital and at Long Island Jewish Hospital in New York City. He completed his fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He served two years at the National Institutes of Health in the National Cancer Institute in both clinical and laboratory research. Dr. Rosenthal is an Assistant Professor at the Johns Hopkins school of Medicine and Chief of the Allergy Section of the Inova Fairfax Hospital. He is the author of over fifty publications and holds three patents on medical devices. Another device for the diagnosis of exercise induced bronchospasm is patent pending. His major professional interests involve the practice of medicine and clinical pharmacology research. He has a special interest in asthma, exercise induced asthma, scientific medicine and food allergy. Dr. Rosenthal was selected to ``Best Doctors of the United States`` and has been listed repeatedly in the Washingtonian Magazine's ``Washington's Best Doctors`` and Washington Checkbook. He is a Fellow in the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and is board certified in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. He is married with a grown daughter and has been an avid pet owner.
