Biography: As a board-certified orthodontist, I have the privilege to spend my days with people who are making a positive, lasting change in their lives. It is deeply rewarding to take someone who is uncomfortable with the appearance of their teeth and work with them to achieve a uniquely beautiful smile! I love that I get to see patients on a regular basis, as this allows us to get to know each other. From visit to visit, I see how each transforms: as their teeth gradually move into proper position, there is a change in appearance and personality. As a patient sees this change, they feel more comfortable with how they look and their self-esteem blossoms. Biography: Michael Preskar, DDS, a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, received his DDS from the University of California, San Francisco, in 1974, graduating with honors. Finishing the program early, he did an externship at San Francisco VA Hospital in general dentistry and an externship at San Francisco General Hospital in oral surgery. He did his internship and residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at Denver General Hospital from 1976 to 1979. He married his wife Georgianna in 1974. They have two wonderful children.
