Biography: Stephen J. Dewan, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.A.C.C. is originally from Houston, Texas. After graduating from the University of Notre Dame, he earned his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his general surgery internship and residency at Emory University in Atlanta and his cardiothoracic surgery residency at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
