Came in so unsure of my life or death procedure. I get it i live i don't i die. I had many questions as everyone probably or should have. He talked to me as a person. He didn't use any fancy superficial words. He even spelt the words that was weird. I'm from a small country town with old timers ways of talking very direct and forward with our words. He was very kind caring and helpful and above all else probably one of the most experienced and knowledgeable docs in his field according to his track record. I would only recommend him to anyone everyone. I haven't ever been nervous about hardly anything in life until I went in and found out everything that was wrong that no other docs have found or cared to find. He is is a lifesaver in the most literal aspect of the word. Now because of him I can enjoy my kids my wife my dogs my life even longer now. Which I know I aint making it out alive nor want to even if I could. How ever because of him I will be able to live longer for my family.

Dr Hoenicke takes a lot of time to review your medical issues, recommend treatment options, and answer any questions. Never had a doctor who was so willing to devote as much time to discussion as Dr Hoenicke

Dr. Hoenicke is a world class Cardiotherasic surgeon. Three years ago I had the pleasure to have him perform Aortic valve replacement, Aortic Root replacement, Aortic Arch aneurism repair, and Cox Maze procedure. He was a LOCOM Doctor filling in at the hospital in North Dakota while the Resident Cardio surgeon was on vacation. I was told by the Surgical Team, afterword that he had performed the most intricate heart operation performed in that hospital in over 10 years. I am alive today because of his knowledge and skills
