Biography: Peter Dourdoufis, DO, FACC, FASE, is a board-certified cardiologist with Portsmouth Cardiology Associates, who has served the Seacoast community for the past 27 years. Dr. Dourdoufis acquired his undergraduate degree in biology from St. Joseph's University. He earned his medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, where he completed his internship. He went on to complete his residency at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, followed by a cardiology fellowship at Allegheny University Hahnemann Division.Dr. Dourdoufis received his board-certification in Cardiovascular Disease through the American Board of Internal Medicine. He specializes in the treatment of heart failure, hypertension, coronary artery disease, complex arrhythmia, and disorders of lipid metabolism. Dr. Dourdoufis has additional board certifications and is level III certified in Nuclear Cardiology and Echocardiography including transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography.Dr. Dourdoufis serves as Portsmouth Regional Hospital's chief of Cardiology, director of Non-Invasive Cardiology, and is core faculty for the ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency program. He has authored several research and publication articles, and is a guest lecturer for the Johnson and Wales University Physician Assistant Program. Dr. Dourdoufis has received numerous awards and honors, including Teacher of the Year and the Recognition of Service Excellence at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. He was recently voted Portsmouth Regional Hospital's Physician of the Year 2023, Best of the Seacoast in Cardiology 2023, and has regularly appeared in New Hampshire Magazine's Top Doc edition.When not treating patients, Dr. Dourdoufis enjoys football, projects around the house, and spending time with his family. Biography: Pooja S. Jagadish, MD, is a board-certified noninvasive cardiologist and cardiac imaging specialist with Portsmouth Cardiology Associates. She specializes in the treatment of a wide array of adult disorders of the heart, including preventive cardiology, lipidology, and cardio oncology. She also performs cardiac imaging, including echocardiography, cardiac nuclear imaging, and cardiac CT. Dr. Jagadish is board certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease through the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM). She is additionally a Diplomate in cardiac computed tomography as well as nuclear cardiology from the Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement (APCA). Dr. Jagadish completed internal medicine residency at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at the University of Arizona College of Medicine-Tucson. She earned her Bachelor of Art from Vanderbilt University and completed medical school at the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University.
