Bypass @ 39
I had a triple bypass at 39 with no symptoms leading up to it.Dr Gold got my case out of chance (due to the emergency and unforeseen circumstances), and I am entirely happy with how he has managed my case in the last three years. I also have the benefit of seeing how my 45 year old sister who had a quad bypass at 35 is managed (through Concord Cardiology) and can compare the two in real-time. Dr Gold is more aggressive than Concord, and his approach is mirrored by my PCP so I am getting the same opinions from two independent Drs.Dr. Gold does a great job at listening to my concerns and I have had a ton of tests trying to get answers to my issues given my age.I choose to stay with Dr. Gold rather than have my case transferred to a more local Dr. and I therefore drive an hour to see him. I have had no issues with getting appointments but will note I have had no time sensitive issues that required appointments on short notice.

I'm surprised about the negative reviews...
I've had Dr. Gold as my cardiologist now going on 2 years. He's been professional and knowledgeable and would have no problem recommending him to anyone. As far as the negative reviews are concerned, my guess there's more to the story than what's being reported.

I give him 1 star. I can do better reading google searches on how to care for myself then going to him. self centered, not empathetic, careless, not inclusive, not informative, in fact dangerous if you left your life in his hands, in my opinion.
