Biography: I am a licensed mental health therapist in New York with 33 years of professional work experience in a variety of settings. I have a special interest in working with college students/young adults and experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, relationship issues, motivation, self esteem, and confidence. I also have experience in the substance abuse prevention field, in mental health treatment, and in the developmental service system delivering mental health counseling, and counseling through an employee assistance program. I have helped people with trauma issues, domestic violence issues, mood disorders, women's issues and relationship issues. I believe in each person's ability to tap into their strengths and improve their lives in the directions they choose.

Biography: I am currently doing text-only sessions through BetterHelp. I have a professional history of assisting clients who are in recovery from complex trauma (including socioeconomic and spiritual oppression), cis- and hetero-normativity, and causing harm. My subcultural competence extends to BDSM, polyamory, occultism, etc. It is my responsibility to utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, provide you with psychoeducation regarding mental health, validate and affirm you, help you find your power, and consistently address the tasks and goals we create together for your treatment plan. We will devise a plan to improve your quality of life, relationships, self-soothing, and accountability. The goal is for the work we do together to be effective. I believe therapeutic work is about developing understanding and new skill sets so that you reach a day in which you are using your individualized blueprint for living.
