Biography: Dr. Cordero is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Sacred Heart University in PR with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She completed her medical school at Universidad Autnoma de Guadalajara and NY Medical College. After completing her residency in Internal Medicine, Dr. Cordero continued her fellowship training at VA Caribbean Healthcare System in Puerto Rico, graduating with honors. Additionally, she was a recipient of the Pride in Public Service award for her volunteer work with veterans and the community.Dr. Cordero has been a member of the American Thoracic Society, the Society of Critical Care Medicine and the American College of Chest Physicians.

Having presented in various scientific meetings, he has also published several journal articles pertaining to pulmonary diseases and critical care medicine.
