Dr. Kim is the best therapist I've had. She always made time for me even though she had a super busy calendar. She always listened to me. She was thoughtful about how to treat me in a way that actually worked!!! I recovered from anorexia nervosa with her as my therapist, and I could feel happy again after 11 years of being miserable.

Atrocious, condescending manner, apparently insists all her patients sit down in the chair first thing as she walks into the room "and they always listen". I was more comfortable standing but that was unacceptable to her apparently "because this is a psychiatry ER." I'm the patient, I'm the one who's had a nightmarish time being dehumanized and treated like an animal for the past 3 days. She simmered down after discovering the life stressors I was experiencing were related to immigration, guess it resonated with her own history. Horrible, just horrible. If these are the characters that populate what I was later to learn is apparently the "top psychiatry department" in the nation then I shudder.
