This PA was part of taking care of my husband when he was in the hospital after a heart attack. I was surprised to have a PA as part of his team but quickly appreciated how much time she spent talking to my family and updating us with the plan day to day. We still saw the doctor every day but it was nice to have another person to ask questions to. She was well informed about his care, and if she didn't know the answer she would check with the doctor and quickly get back to us. Overall made us feel a lot better.
