Vernell O Hare, MSN

I saw Vernell as a cardiology patient of Dr. Reich, a noted cardiac arrhythmia specialist. First off all, Vernell had apparently studied my medical history file - and she was thorough in both her examination and interview. She answered ALL of my questions in a way that was understandable to a layman. She appeared confident, well acquainted with matters of cardiac arrhythmia, and she was professional. Most of all - Vernell displayed outstanding people skills and a concern for my health. If Vernell O’Hare is your NP . . . You’re lucky! I’m glad to see that other patients of hers feel the same way I do — because we need more people like Vernell in the medical profession!

During my stress test, Ms Clemons and the nurse seemed more occupied with their conversation, than in me. When I mentioned that the scrubbing the nurse did, on my skin were quite painful, she did not even check, dismissed me. "Its necessary to have a good contact." I emphasized that 15 min. later, it was still painful. No response. For days later I had pain and scabbed over. I would say it was too much. On my next visit, (after going to the ER with extreme chest pain and very out of character high blood pressure), Ms Clemmons acted a bit put out with me. She said, "Can you tell me why you felt it was necessary to be seen today?" I was shocked. I said, "I thought I was dying!" "I was seen at the ER, it was alarming to me." She said, "You had a heart cath and it was normal, so we know your heart is fine." Acting like she was just shutting me up, "Well, then, we will put a heart monitor on you." So I was found to have Atrial Fibrillation.

Very intelligent and I trust her with my cardio care! Takes a lot of time. Explains well.
