Dr. Valerie Biscardi, OD

Worst customer experience ever experienced. My family (3) are patients and I had an appointment as a new patient. I had to change my appointment due to a work conflict and they dropped me a new patient. They are also willing to loose my family and they didn't ever care. So sad because we have been going there for a few years. Never Again!

I have tried repeatedly to make an appointment but the office staff is very unfriendly. I don’t know where else to go to get my contacts checked except Biscardi Please help

I relied on this practice for many years when it was led by Dr. Wortman, who was great. Unfortunately, sometime after he retired, the office staff destroyed the valuable records of any patients who had not yet scheduled appointments with Dr. Biscardi. They did this without any warning. I discovered it only when I tried to make an appointment last June. And after many promises they "would get back to everyone" with COVID-safe appointments, they never followed up with me. I have gotten care elsewhere, as should anyone who cares about competent and respectful administrative practices.

Terrible!!! I asked Dr. Biscardi for a progressive eyeglass prescription. When I got my glasses, they did not work. I went to another doctor who was able to prescribe a prescription that actually worked. The correct prescriptions from my 2019 doctor and the doctor I visited after Dr. Biscardi both have the Axis (the prescription for the astigmatism) as 180 for the right eye and 015 for the left. Dr. Biscardi has the axis as 020 for the right and 160 for the left. She clearly transposed the numbers, causing me to be unable to see. When I contacted Dr. Biscardi's office asking for a refund for the $435 I spent on glasses and another exam, I was met with hostility by her Office Manager and denied a reimbursement stating that Dr. Biscardi "stands by her prescription." When I followed-up directly with the Dr., she had a lawyer contact me to refuse the full refund. What I experienced was TERRIBLE customer service and clear incompetence from this doctor.

Really felt railroaded to buy contact lens from the office. When I asked for a different brand, they refused to accommodate the request. Impossible to get call-backs from the office or schedule appointments. Not worth your time.

Dr. Biscardi ignored many telephone calls from me over a period of many weeks. I was greeted with a variety of excuses, but she never returned the call. I regret that I am no longer able to recommend her or her practice.

I had my first appointment with Dr. Biscardi and I can’t say enough great things about her! Everyone in the office was fantastic! Dr. Biscardi was ever so patient with me and she did not rush through the exam. I am so grateful for her expertise and her temperament as she understood my concerns on every level. I couldn’t be happier!

My appointment with the doctor went very well, but my experience in getting my eye glasses was terrible. The lenses were made incorrect 3 times and I waited 2 months before the lense was improved. The staff that helped me was very unprofessional and made me feel very uncomfortable each time I went to ththe office to try the glasses on. The vision in the lenses still Does not feel right and I need to get them fixed at another optometrist.
