I am writing this on Saturday 11/2. I have been in and out of Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital with an asthma exacerbation since 10/23. I have been admitted for this time since 10/20. My care has been excellent by Infinity Health up today. On Friday 11/1, I met with Dr. Kapowski from Infinity. It was agreed I was trending better but not ready to leave. I was told my case would be evaluated daily to chart my progress and be discharged when ready. In other words, we would work together to resolve this. Dr. Thomas Chamberlain from Infinity informed be my meds would change on Sunday and I would be discharged Monday. He listened to my lungs for 1 minute and spent a total of 5 minutes in my room. This was an edict. I guess he knows I will be fine on Monday with no input from me. I guess predicting the future for his patients is a special skill he possesses. He was not concerned with how I felt, only on what he dictating. He had no consideration for my concerns.
