Debra Stacey, NP

While my experience with Debra Stacey was fair, I would not recommend her. I personally did not like her as a person and therefore sought new help for my mental health problems - which would later be better treated at another facility where I receive mental health counseling as well as psychiatric therapy. (I recognize she provides the latter and not the former.) Her husband assists her and weighs her patients before every appointment. From my experience, they often made out-of-pocket comments regardless if my weight was up or down (a symptom of my depression). She was so busy typing the whole time, I felt like she wasn't truly listening to me. I do appreciate her getting me on medicine and explaining the prescriptions, however, she reacted crudely to my self-injury marks. And I find that unforgivable. She appears to be quite dismissive of bad reviews, but if she is as good as a therapist as she acts like she is, she will know that everyone's feelings are valid. I'm doing much better now under different care.

I have been seeing Debra for over three years now. She is so compassionate, always making sure I am okay. I highly recommend Debra.

I’ve been seeing Debra now for over 5 years, and the level of care she provides is outstanding. I am definitely not one who likes too discuss personal issues, but with Debra I know it’s completely confidential and judgment free. She has helped me in so many different aspects of my life besides my mental health. I’m extremely grateful I have found her and so proud to have her on my side. Not only has she helped me out n changing my life and outlook for the better, she has become a confidante that I can trust and tell anything to! Debra Stacey has helped me manage my life in ways that no other NP/ psychiatrist has been able to or even cared to! I know that when I speak with her she actually listens to my concerns and cares about me personally which is hard to find in this field of practice! She is authentic and not afraid to share her own experiences to help with my own every day struggles! Debra has become such an important person in my life and I am so grateful that I have found her! I recommend Debra Stacey to anyone that’s looking for real answers and anyone who needs a better understanding of their mental health! Debra is incredible. Not only has she taken great care of my mental health issue, but also she is lovely to speak with at every appointment. It’s rare to find a psychiatrics that combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming her patient! She’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. She takes time with the patient to help them with their mental health issues! It took me a while to find a NP/Psychiatrics that made me feel comfortable and doesn't judge me about my past! She has become like an Angel from heaven to me!

Very thorough new patient visit. Have never had a provider really listen and look me in the eye. She is very caring. There was slot of paperwork that really helped her get to the cause of my problems. I really like how she explained everything and gave me a choice in my treatment options. I like that she didn’t just let look at my past, she started fresh with no assumptions or prejudices. I really like that it’s not a patient mill and I was treated as an individual.

I've been going to see her for a couple years and she's great. She is very communicative, easy to talk to, look forward to my visits. She is really knowledgeable. She talked to me about my physical health so I get good care.

Debra really listens, is knowledgeable, we developed a good relationship from the start. I really like her therapy dog. I don't feel like a number, treats me like a person and responds.

I really felt your weight was causing your increased depression, anxiety, and social anxiety. I felt like a leper. I just stayed at home and withdrew. I felt that no one would listen to me and no one else felt it was a problem. They felt my depression was causing weight gain. Debra asked me what my priorities were which was my weight and mood so she treated me for my depression and weight. After about 3-4 months I was feeling better. I have lost about 80 lbs. I am working, feel like I can finish my degree, exercising regularly. I can can go out with my friends. I feel like I got myself back.

I recommend her because she is understanding, compassionate, willing to give people a change and recognize their differences and need different treatment. Always gets back to me. Easy to talk to. I don't feel funny telling her about anything. She does make me feel ashamed of my past or health needs. She treats me like a normal person seeing my primary, no stigma, my actual health mentally and physically is always her concern.

Originally started seeing Debra in 2017, I was really bad mentally. I had seen a lot of providers without any improvement since 2001. I felt I was close to death. I now am happy which I didn't think would every happen, I love my job, things are good at home, I feel better than I ever have in my adult life

I felt that Debra would help me on my journey to well being and get the help that I needed, everyone else gave me a brief visit and I got a partial plan, never got anywhere. Debra really listens to me, my history is complicated and she took the time to learn my history and was able to decipher what I was actually saying and understood you and worked with me to become stable. This is the first time that I have felt normal.

I recently lost my physiatrist!! I called for my med refill as I always do the secretary informed me she had closed private practice so naturally I flipped out made A app with another provider home I waited a month to get ingo to my app and find out they don't except my insurance so as I was leaving I seen Deb Stacy's office and they did not judge me in any way very compassionate and got me into see her the very next day I finally feel like myself again I absolutely love her and her staff !

I have been an RN for twenty five years in many specialty areas and for the first time I can focus, deal with crisis situations without second guessing myself, feel like I have control of my life, feel calm. Feel better than I ever had before, my medication doses and combination are just right so that I can make sense of things, can complete things. I didn't think I could ever feel normal but I do. "I've got this"

She is one of the only providers that really listens and always does everything she can to help me. I can trust her and talk to her about anything. I really feel like we've bonded, I never feel uncomfortable. She pays attention to all my my needs, physical-mental-emotional, and makes sure that I get the treatment I need from other doctors and professionals

She doesn't judge me, she is very compassionate and I can tell her anything, I feel like family, its like my other home, I am a private person but I feel very comfortable in the office. I was feeling better by the next day after my first appointment. I love her, she really takes the time to make sure that I am taken care of.

Debra is a caring and knowledgeable individual who did not talk down to me, worked closely with me to get my symptoms under control and to get me under the right medication regime. I really appreciate that because I have had a long difficulty history achieving stability. I always feel like I get extra time and attention compared to other practitioners I have had over the years.

You can trust her. You can tell her anything and never hear it again. She makes sure I understand everything and see it clearly. She always puts her patients first. She has called me back on weekends and while on vacations. She makes sure that I have my medications and I get visits when I need them. She calls and checks up on me to make sure I am alright. I can always depend on her. I have been going to her for several years and if she moves, I schedule at her new office.

I am a long time patient. Debra is personable, I always feel comfortable with her. Love the patient portal, very easy to get ahold of her. I can schedule my appointments on the portal or the staff will schedule and they are really nice. She makes sure that I fully understand what is going on and that I am done, she doesnt rush me out.
