For 4 years she helped me heal. About 4 years into my therapy I noticed a significant decline on her ethics. Ms. Hast would tell me about other clients, especially from my family of origin that contributed to my complex trauma. She confided that she would disassociate when talking to me. I became her major support system during her time of need. We went from therapist/client, to therapist/client/friend. She referred to other clients as 'crazy' when texting me to vent. Her major breech of ethics has reeked havoc on my life. She made me feel like I was too much and I would ask her if it was OK to discuss certain topics. Ms. Hast should have known what a breech in ethics could do. No, I don't see her as a therapist anymore, but unfortunately I'm left with nightmares about her. No one should goto therapy and leave with additional trauma.
