Nicola Clarke Wallen, PMHNP

I love Nicola and have been seeing her for 3 years. She is so thorough and spends so much time with me. I love that I can do televisits and do not have to drive to an office. She has started a new practice now called Atlas and she is still just as good as ever.

I met with Nicola Clarke Wallen for a total of 3 appointments. During the first one, I felt like she didn’t listen to me and treated me like she didn’t believe me. But, I thought, maybe I read things wrong or maybe she was having an off day, so I scheduled and attended a follow up. During the follow up, she threw all these different treatments at me (TMS, ketamine, etc.) and it was really overwhelming, but I went along with it and had those appointments with those doctors and scheduled a follow up again with Nicola. I had an adverse reaction to the treatment she referred me to and I brought it up during my third and final appointment with her and she could not care less. I emphasized how concerned I was and asked her what she thought were the diagnostic implications of the reaction and she told me that I did not have an adverse reaction (manic episode) and that “it was just insomnia.” I repeated my concern and she refused the topic entirely and told me she was leaving the practice.
