Terrible patient relations/unethical
I will start by saying that I absolutely loved going to Med First when Dr. Horn was a physician there. Sadly, he retired and I was forced to see a nurse practioner, Nicole Stauffer. Her bedside manner was less than desirable, but this has been my only clinic for 18 years, so I decided to give her a chance, hoping to eventually see my doctor. It did get better, but on one of my last visits she said I needed a physical and ordered bloodwork. I scheduled it and got my bloodwork done.I showed up and questioned why I was being charged for a physical. Apparently it hadn't been coded as such, but I was told it would be changed and Stauffer made sure she stated (from down the hall) that we could only discuss the physical (whatever that entailed). We got in there and I simply answered her questions. I later receive a bill, which I disputed. I kept receiving the explanation that more was discussed.Long story short, they waived the fee and I was told she said to find another provider. Caution!
