My 93 yr. old mother, after having previously seen Kate and had been at Toledo Hospital 3 times recently for UTIs would not call in an antibiotic for her after her exhibiting the same symptoms. All her medical records were readily available on MyChart. I asked what would prescribing an antibiotic hurt????? I was told that Kate just didn't comfortable prescribing medication without my mom being seen. My mom is wheelchair bound and has dementia and lives in assisted living and getting her out and to an urgent care or doctor's office is very difficult. I'm definitely not happy with Kate.

Always responds to messages on mychart, always has time to speak with me about my concerns and is very personable. Love her nursing staff too.

Kate is always friendly and ready to discuss my health. She has a great bedside manner and it is never uncomfortable to discuss sensitive subjects. It is easy to get an appointment.

Every time I've been seen by her she is friendly and personable. However. Anytime I write her about an issue more then a rash she directs me to urgent care or DOESNT RESPOND. Asked for medical advise on a sore throat after strep had been going around my family and she NEVER responded to me or another family member who wrote her as a patient. I said I had some wheezing, advised me to go to ER. Don't bother going to her as she won't see you. You'll just live in urgent cares and ERs flooding them with unnecessary cases.

I only have ever had great care from Katherine Samburg.. I am able to get in usually on short notice, and I really do feel she cares. Office staff has been very friendly.

I was recommended to Samberg to be my Family Doctor. I’ve seen her twice for reoccurring issues, both times she has turned me away and has actually said “I can’t help you” I followed her recommendation on what to do. I dropped off a sample to get sent out like she instructed me to and she threw it away the next day. She doesn’t listen to what’s wrong. She doesn’t seem to even care, nor does it seem like she wants to help. I was very disappointed, and just left helpless. Do not recommend.

I got moved to Samberg when my NP left the practice. I have several health issues that need attentive care and I always feel like Kate just doesn't care. My old NP was doing quarterly blood work and biannual ultrasounds and since I have been with Kate she has only ordered blood work when I told her my symptoms were really bad. She seems like a nice enough person, but if you need more than a yearly check up, I don't recommend her.

She is so great, listens well answers all questions. I am a complicated case and she is amazing.
