As an RN I watched this doctor go through his E.R. residency and knew then that he was a star......a fantastic diagnostician who cared about each patient. To those who complain that he talks about his family or some events, this is what physicians call “distracting” the patient to help them to relax when taking blood pressure or attempting to assess quality of pain for example. He hasn’t changed...he’s still a star and my husband and I are grateful for his care.

Dr. Axonovitz is a veritable compendium of medical knowledge. He always takes the time to address my needs. He starts with a simple approach before progressing to more complex solutions to a medical problem.

He is an excellent diagnostician. I am an MD. I know. I have not seen anyone waiting since he limited his practice. On the contrary, he has never failed to provide same day service.

Went to a "VIP" practice where you pay $1650.00 before you get an aspirin. Refused to refill a prescription while I waited for a new doctor. I was a patient for 20 years! Only interested in being a physician if I paid the upfront fee. I could have died, but he didn't care. Do not look for any compassion from this "doctor".

Every single time I have seen this doctor over the past two years, my wait time is at least one hour. On two occasions I took off work to make sure to get there on time, only to be told that a mistake was made and he would not be in. The worst part of my experience with Dr. Axonovitz is him bringing up and talking about himself constantly-like trips he is going on, his sons wedding, etc. Instead of talking about these things , little to no attention is given to what my health concerns are.

Dr. Axonovitz is a super good clinician -he immediately suspected that I had a thyroid disease, ordered testing that showed he was correct, medicated and monitored me. I was so glad i switched from our old physician who had seen me for years and never listened to my tiredness concerns and Dr. Axonovitz figured it out in seconds. My husband and I both use him, and we strongly feel he is worth the wait in his office. The wait is usually an hour, so we take a book along.

Don't ever expect to get into the office in a timely manner. He talks a lot about his personal life and Seems in capable of figuring out what's wrong with patients. It got worse when they introduced a new computer system. The entire visit consists of him fumbling around and his scribe interrupting trying to figure out what she needs to put into the computer for the reason of the visit so they can get paid. He remembers nothing from previous visits and takes forever! Then you leave no better
