Karen Gordon is extremely knowledgeable and such an amazing NP. I went to her during my whole pregnancy and was so happy with her. Always answers any questions I may have. She is kind and loving.

After many years of not getting answers on my unusual cycles, I finally found someone who was willing to be transparent and give me the straight honest and clear truth. Karen is incredibly knowledgeable and truly cares about her patients.

I went to Karen because I'm a young student and have Kaiser. Not much of a choice because there are only two OBGYN's at the kaiser in my area. I told her I was concerned about my menstruation after missing it for a long time... she made me feel so stupid. I had chosen to go off the pill and she berated me for it for 15 minutes. She told me horror stories about women getting ovarian cancer and it didn't matter that it made me feel like garbage because it prevents cancer. I told her I knew other women who went off the pill and continued a natural cycle after a few months... she told me to stop talking to other women because they are 'just wrong'. I felt so uncomfortable, and she then told me I shouldn't be worried and sent me off. I waited two months for this appointment only to be belittled and disregarded. So many women are already afraid of the doctors because nobody wants to believe us. I've been disregarded in every field of my life, but an OBGYN should be a SAFE SPACE.

She is very knowledgable but quite condescending when you have questions. She detected a health issue for me and my baby very efficiently but was horrible at explaining and brushed off my questions with "Worrying won't change anything". Both my parents are doctors and this is not the way to treat a patient with questions

Absolutely horrendous and a formal complaint is being filed.

Probably the worst gynecology visit I’ve ever experienced. She’s condescending and brushes off everything you tell her with “you are fine.” Work on your bedside manner.

Karen is a wonderful midwife, she has over 20 years of experience and is friendly,kind and very knowledgeable. As a first time mom to be I am nervous and full of questions and she always has time to answer every question I have and has given me great advice. I enjoy having her treat me as it's obvious she enjoys what she does.
