Dr. Gordon St Mary Jr, PSY.D

Kind, caring, compassionate, helpful, positive and loving doctor. He has guided me through difficult life challenges. He stands out among other therapists I have had.

Dr St Mary is one of the kindest people I have ever met. He has helped me with severe anxiety and depression.

Not sure how he is as a Psychologist I was ghosted twice for scheduled appointments before I was able to meet him. I scheduled an appointment with him for Saturday, and he never sent me the link for our telehealth visit. So I rescheduled for the coming Thursday, because people make mistakes. I wait for my appointment Thursday, and don't receive my link again. I simply didn't want to meet with someone who did not respect my time or know how to manage his properly. He also said "Who is this" to a whole text thread we created while making these appointments when I let him know I no longer wanted to try and be one of his patients. Then proceeded to call me and tell me that I wasn't ghosted. And that he just didn't write down my number to call me. This is after I told him I wanted to meet via zoom as well. I would look into other options if you have the chance, or meet with him as he may be a fantastic psychologist, I will simply never get the chance to know.

Dr. Gordon St Mary is considerate, kind, and in tune with the needs of his patients. He helps patients understand the physiology taking place in the body at the moment of stress/episodes. He is always available at times of need and his appointment are extremely beneficial. Did I mention he has a soothing voice? I would recommend Dr. Gordon to everyone, both young and old.

My experience with Dr. St. Mary was great. I didn’t expect much at first because it was during COVID but he is amazing. I can honestly say he is changing my outlook slowly but at I want to stay and continue. That’s something that hasn’t happened in a while including writing this review.

Unfortunately I would not recommend this therapist. Unprofessional.

Dr. Gordon seemed nice on the phone, however he never showed up to my scheduled appointment. After securing a time and day three weeks in advance, I took the day off work to see Dr. Gordon only for him to not show up. His office was empty and I tried texting and calling him for nearly an hour only to be ignored. A few hours later I received a text saying, “sorry I was at lunch. Would you like to reschedule?”. This doctor should not have a license with such insensitive and careless behavior. A psychologist is supposed to make patients feel better - however all this doctor did was make me feel as though my time is not valuable. Complete waste of time and incredibly inconsiderate!
