Not neurodivergent affirming
Not affirming in any way. If you are adhd or autistic DO NOT see her! So she tone policed me after opening up and telling her that I lost a friend to suicide last week, a friend lost her battle to cancer yesterday, I’m in the process of moving and I’m overwhelmed, and that I get triggered when people tone police me since I can’t hear my volume or tone. At the end of the call all I was trying to do is advocate for myself that I need name brand medication due to having celiacs and she wasn’t listening to me. I apparently went up in volume and she said that if it continues to happen that I need to find a new provider. Not the best way to start out with a new client and not affirming care at all.
