Dr M is excellent at explaining and advising. I feel very fortunate to have found him!

Very knowledgeable about neuromuscular problems which cause double vision.

I trust his knowledge and judgment, he is very detailed, patient and right to the point.

Staff is pleasant. Optician assistants perform the visual acuity testing with proficiency. Dr. Murtzlufft is thorough and explains the exam results and the symptoms I need to watch for and to call the office if the symptoms develop.

The medical care I received at my visit were excellent. But my overall experience would get no stars at all. I arrived around 10:05 for my 10:15 appointment. At 11:15 I asked at the desk if I had come at the wrong time. She said no, that my chart was in the back in a box and that they were a half hour behind. I can understand a delay, but this had never happened before at Center for Sight. I was never see until almost 11:45 and didn’t leave the office until 12:30. This is totally unacceptable in my opinion and needs to be corrected. I will not recommend this office to anyone who asks my for a referral until I see a change.

I’ve been his patient for 20 years. Consistently shows concern for the health of my eyes. Always honest thru the years about what I should expect as I aged. Never pushes prematurely for eye care. Genuine concern for my sight. I trust him completely.

Appointment wait time was short. Had a thorough exam and met with Dr. Mertzlufft who explained everything very well and asked for some additional pictures. Once again he was very thorough and explained issues very clearly. I think he’s an excellent doctor.

I arrived at my 3:15 p.m. appointment at 3:08 p.m. and waited more than 1.5 hours before I saw the doctor. Do you think they would have held my appointment for me if I was that late? I doubt it. No excuse.

Dr. Mertzlufft was very thorough and explained everything that he was doing. He also provided a thorough response to all of my questions. He provided a very detailed explanation of “floaters” beyond anything that any other health care professional ever gave me.
