Cynthia is no nonsense and really knows her meds. Caring and thoughtful in her approach to psychiatric care. Definitely recommend her!!

Extremely rude and abrasive. When she asked me to give background on my mental health she constantly scrunched her face up as if she was skeptical about what I was describing and kept making me reiterate everything. She is not warm nor inviting. I felt terrible after my initial appointment with her. If your mental health is fragile, seek help elsewhere.

Terrible experience. – Mar 02, 2021

I understand some of the reviews in that she does not waste my time, and can be very blunt- but I like and appreciate that! I already have a phenomenal therapist, I don't need Cynthia to fill that gap. I need her to do what she does best: Med management. She is a well trained, experienced, Psychiatric NP. She is professional, helped me manage side effects and correct combinations that my previous Psych MD messed up pretty badly resulting in severe depression, weight gain, and sleep issues. Cynthia did try a several meds, as everyone's brain chemistry is different and there is no 'one size fits all' - which I see people lamenting in the reviews. But she did a great job observing and adjusting them. She had me re-stabilized in less than 6mos. I've had Psychiatrists go much slower and ignore my suffering in the meantime. She is no-bs, which some people may not like, but I believe is an asset. I pay out of pocket to keep her because she is WORTH IT!

Excellent psychiatrist. Yes, I know she is an Nurse Practitioner. But she has been better than the two other psychiatrists I've had since moving to CO. I had a good one out of state with 40yrs experience, and Cynthia is certainly on par with her. She has helped me manage some tricky med adjustments and changes since having my son. And helped adapt meds as my needs changed now that I am seeing a great trauma therapist for conflict related PTSD. Out of the box, extremely knowledgeable, and listens to my feedback. I recommend her. I have not used her for therapy, so I can only speak to her well trained psychiatric care.

Long term patient - several years now. Wouldn't tr – Oct 09, 2020

I had been diagnosed with depression, major depressive disorder reoccurring and anxiety previously. I was also suicidal. I had limited choices with medicaid and that's why I went to her at Creekside. Cynthia can prescribe medicine as a Physicians assistant and does take Medicaid. However, she is just trying and guessing what to prescribe. She said it's trial and error to find the best medicine. She had me try 6 different drugs with a different one each visit for 4 weeks each time before after 6 months of seeing her Butrion and Efflexor worked. Then I was able to get refills through my primary care doctor at Kaiser. I wasn't impressed with her friendliness, caring, professionalism or attitude. She takes patients in every 5 or 10 minutes just long enough to ask a few quick questions and send you on and get to the next appointment like a revolving door. Very impersonal or concerned. I actually felt like I was seeing a "legal" drug dealer. Medicaid quality I suppose it's what you get.

Rude, abrasive, indifferent and bad mouthed my former psychiatrist (unprofessional). Also prescribed me for a medication that can cause the same hormonal side effect that I was trying to avoid.

I can understand the other reviews here. However, for me I like working with Cynthia. I never feel like she wastes my time. She never makes me wait more than a few minutes after I arrive in the office. She is certainly to-the-point but she answers questions when I have them and has taken time when I needed her to work through things with me. I am a rare human that gets frustrated by too much talk or any unproductive conversation. If you're like me, you'll like Cynthia.

I noticed she only had five-star reviews left this year on Yelp, kind of peculiar, considering my anonymous review echos the other low ratings here. I’ve been going to her for two years and she always verifies my name like she doesn’t know me, and could care less. It’s simply get-in-and-get-out treatment. One of the least friendly, and almost rude, professionals I’ve had. I’m only continuing to go because I see her five minutes every few months, and am limited with insurance options.

She makes her 30 min appointments like 5 mins. She is very cold and doesn't seem to care about her patients. She can't ever get crap straight when it comes to my meds or what we have gone over. She is the least helpful person I have been to. Also she didn't oversee my care correctly causing me to become unstable then had the nerve to say "I don't know what else to do for you" TERRIBLE CARE

My expirence echos the other 1 star reviews you see here, sadly. Always booked for half hour appointments, she would give me a script in literally 4 minutes and send me away. I don’t need much attention, but it seems like she doesn’t care. I can never schedule an appointment for sooner than 3+ week out. Too much for a just a refill.
