Claudia Moon-Perez, LMFT

I worked with Claudia 2007-2009. She helped me develop incredibly important life skills that I have used ever since. I was a young woman navigating relationships and family dynamics, and she made sure she was available during emergencies in my life, and helped change my life for the better. I would not be as strong and emotional equipped without the work I did with Claudia’s help. I am happily married now with children and I sincerely recommend Claudia for therapy.

This therapist was attentive, an good listener and professional. I would recommend her as a great part of your journey towards good mental health.

She was very biased and I had a horrible experience at her office for 2 years time. Just go to a real office that takes medi-cal insurance. That’s how you know there legit. When I asked Claudia moon Perez if she would consider taking Medi-cal insurance rather than charging 200$ for 45 min sessions she reacted as if it was beneath her. She is a very Ego-driven woman with narcissistic and masculine energy. She will let you know she is the smartest is the room because she is the Dr… oh wait… she’s not a Dr. but she will make you think she is by her demeanor and how she is always right and can’t be wrong. She hurt my family situation guys so I speak from experience when I say don’t go to her office and waste your hard earned money. I found a great Dr. that takes medi-cal, that doesn’t express her political positions and make you feel less than.

I wouldn't be who I am today without Claudia. You can bank on her advice to be solid. She's dependable and kind. You won't find a better therapist anywhere. You'd be lucky and blessed if she takes you on as a client.

Claudia is an extremely intelligent and effective therapist. I had a horrifying experience with the previous court appointed therapist and Claudia was a GOD SEND. If your dealing with parental alienation? Go to her.

She helped my family through difficult divorce, custody issues. Amazing, responsive and dedicated to helping the children and the parents. Trusted by the courts for unbiased and ethical work. Very grounding in the challenges of such an emotionally stressful time. That was 20 years ago! Kids are grown and happy with their own little kids now and they have great relationships with their grandparents! Co-grandparenting with my ex! Wow. Got great skills from her and I still refer to her. Office was great. Easy to schedule appointments even when I felt it was urgent. Never seemed money hungry…that’s weird. Maybe those are court ordered bitter people? Kind, good listener. Helpful. She didn’t always tell me what I wanted to hear lol, but what I needed to hear for the best interest of my children and my family. So grateful for her assistance with my family. We’re happy and healthy. And can still reach out to her office if needed. Thanks

Horrible therapist. Not only did she do absolutely nothing for my family, but she also suggested nonsensical methods to “improve” my child's behavior that did not correlate at all with what we were trying to address. When we did try to get help and be constructive, she responded very rudely and resorted to using personal attacks against us. Even before entering her office, you could hear her talking to other patients in very demeaning and aggressive manner while waiting because the seats were right next to the door. I do not suggest going to her for family therapy.

It’s hard to believe she still has her license. As others have said, she is unethical and unprofessional. Her behavior is not only rude but abusive. She is only in business to make money. I have emails from her that you would not believe are coming from a therapist. Praying no one else fall victim to her abuse.

“Clicked” with Claudia, was able to find understanding and help in many different problems.

Claudia Moon-Perez was my daughter’s (age 13) therapist during a difficult time in our lives. She made a huge difference in my daughter’s life. I could see a weight lifted off of my daughter’s shoulders that was a direct result of Claudia’s help.

Me and my family have been patients of Mrs.Moon-Perez for a few years now and her ability to hep us communicate and understand each other has been life saving and a blessing.

If I could give Claudia 10 stars I definitely would. I saw Claudia in the early 90's and again around 2005. I also sent my teenager to see her when going through teenage trials and tribulations. Claudia is the kindest, most empathetic person I know. She is so good at what she that I have recommended her to close friends of mine. I don't know who the other reviewers were complaining about but if Claudia is so horrible, why would I go back to her for more help? I call BS on those reviewers!

Left a message this morning with the receptionist to schedule an appointment for my 13 year old son who needs therapy. I didn’t get a return call back at the end of the day.

One of the worst therapist in the county. Most other therapists are aware of her reputation of being uneithical and money hungry. She is not there to help but just to make money.

Claudia Perez is is not about helping or bring families together. She is all about the money. Indulges in very unethical practices. Avoid at any cost.

Empathetic and caring, always responsive if I need an urgent appointment. I don't know how other reviewers can say she only cares about money, because that's nothing like the experience I've had with her. I've found nothing but great care and help from Claudia, and I recommend her as highly as an online review can.

The only thing she cares about is making money and she even states it. Not professional. Stay away if you are sent to her.

Claudia is a very money hungry unethical therapist, only thing she cares about the money, she has been around for a very long time and you won't find one person that has good things to stay about her. She is always late for her appointments and has no respect for her patients. She is not out there to help people but it's just a money making business from her.
