THE BEST DOCTOR
My eyes were watering for months and other doctors told me it was allergies. I went to Dr. Smurr and he said he thought it may be a virus and he gave me some drops. MY EYES DO NOT WATER ANYMORE!!! It was truly life changing.

Excellent O. D.
Wasn’t sure what to expect, since it was my first optometry visit. Tampa Eye Institute staff put me at ease, addressed my initial questions immediately. Dr Smurr was really exceptional. Asked questions first to understand my situation, then ran a few simple tests and continued to ask questions. Provided a recommendation that worked well for me, explained in both medical terminology as well as language that was easy for me to understand. I’d recommend Dr Smurr and his staff to my closest family and friends.

Due to the upcoming hurricane I was told I would need to reschedule. I immediately called. Interesting thing is I was going to get a later scheduled appointment than patients that were scheduled after me. Poor business practice.
