Today was my 1st visit with Dr. Rick Robinson's office. The ladies at the front desk are very welcoming. They were also knowledgable regarding any Insurance coverage questions you may have regarding coverage. Dr. Robinson was excellent, I am so impressed with the Eye exam and the treatment I received today. He also gave me a contact lens exam, and is requesting a few different samples for me to try, to see which one works best for me and is most comfortable. I mentioned my Dry Eye Syndrome to him, and he made me aware of Punctal Plugs, ?which are tiny devices (collagen) that are placed in the eye’s tear ducts. They are about the size of a grain of rice, and the plug stops fluid from draining from the eye keeping it moist and comfortable. I had the plugs inserted and did not feel a thing. They last about 3 months, and will lessen the need for excessive eye drops. I couldn't be happier!
