Dr. Zubair Farooqui, MD

My husband and I have been patients of dr.farooqui for 5 yrs. Recently I was hospitalized and he was there that evening to see me. I have been in the hospital several times with other doctors and I never saw them at the hospital. I read the comments about the awful staff. Yes, he did have issues with staff at one time but now that staff is gone! The current staff is exceptional! Referrals and prescriptions get done in a timely manner. I am ready to switch my mother from. Florida medical clinic to dr Farooqui!

He is so kind but at the same time knowledgeable, his staff is amazing as well.

My previous primary doctor retired and I was referred to Dr Farooqui by my cardiologist. Boy,did he hit a home run.Dr Farooqui has made a profound difference for the better with my my health.The doctor is exceptional in every way.His staff has been wonderful and when I needed something they've jumped right on it,and you can always get through on the phone.I couldn't be happier to have found this doctor and his staff.

This doctor is so amazing and will work with you on your healthcare goals. However the office staff is very unprofessional. I waited for over 4 hours to be called back the next day for scans and had to wait another 4 hours before leaving. Now, a few months later, I get a letter in the mail from collections about an unpaid bill that staff at the office never sent or communicated to me. The staff is awful.

My first visit to Dr. Farooqui was on 13th February, 2024 and today was my follow up visit to him. His office is very clean, organized and pleasant. The Nursing Practioner staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. Farooqui is caring, compassionate, gave patient hearing to me on both my visits. He is very knowledgeable, friendly and above all he is very helpful. He proved that he cares about you and your health. He is my first Primary Doctor. A down to earth person as an individual and a awesome Doctor. I strongly recommend Dr. Farooqui to all who are looking for a Family Practioner in Tampa area. Thanks for taking care of my health graph !!

He needs to change his office staff. Very disorganized, tell my mom she has appointments (that were never prescheduled), and when she asks why she has these appointments, they can never give her a straight answer. Good luck trying to get any of them to return phone calls! They are horrible staff, have no clue how to run an medical office and rude.

Dr. is fantastic but his staff is unprofessional and rude and a nightmare to get prescriptions from! Sad such a wonderful doctor doctor doesn’t have better office people to back him up.

Horrible atmosphere....incredibly invasive paperwork...policies dictating lifestyle choices and morality. Beware the prescription protocol. When I questioned legality of all my private info I was told "office policy" and refusal to sign ALL forms results in doctor not seeing me. Lucky me! I retrieved all my paperwork and bolted out the door. Glad to be outta there and away from that terrible office atmosphere.

Dr. Farooqui is my son's primary doctor. This summer he went for a routine visit, and the doctor requested some lab work to be done. Now, my son has a bill from the laboratory for $1,500. He is a college student and unable to pay this bill. His office manager offered to help with this situation because the bill was due to some codes that the doctor put on the lab paper. Nothing has been done to help him with his issue. I am very disappointed with the lack of consideration from his office staff.

Dr is very empathetic and really listens to his patients. Staff is always warm & friendly.

Dr. Farooqui, is professional, respectful, empathetic and very pleasant. Excellent practice, he knows what he is doing, and really listens to help and give solutions. Office staff pleasant.
