Lapendectomy discectomy L4 and L5
Doctor Vora was my surgeon about three years ago. I had severe impingement, could not stand, walk or do most anything for several months and completely disabled. Worst pain of my life. I walked out of the hospital post surgery and have been able to regain most prior activities including skiing. Very thankful for Dr. Vora, his work on me and caring nature.

Nice guy, awful staff
My partner had surgery with Dr. Vora in December. The surgery went fine, but Dr. Vora's staff is a nightmare. Miscommunication on the nurses' part accounted for a two month delay in my partner's recovery, and a complaint filed with Kaiser went exactly nowhere. My partner is five months out from surgery and has only had video or phone appointments since; in FIVE MONTHS, no one has seen him in person to follow up on spinal surgery. They are dismissive of his pain levels, his lack of recovery, and his concerns about being backburnered. Calls and messages go unanswered for days and weeks at a time. Reaching out to Dr. Vora only gets rerouted to a random nurse who is usually unhelpful. Dr Vora is kind, informed, and compassionate; his staff is lackluster, dismissive, and frustrating. See him for your surgery and see literally any other office staff for your follow ups.

I went in with many things wrong with my back and neck, he only went over one thing which was bulging disk which wasnt even the main problem. I get constant numbness, shooting pain in my neck, face, back and buttocks, my arms and legs frequently go weak and I fall down along with many other issues. The whole appointment he focused on how over weight I was and how I just needed to lose weight, nothing about my issues. I'm not even that big, yeah I could probably lose 30-40 pounds but I personally know people he has performed on bigger than me and he didn't treat them half as bad as he treated me. He gave me no suggestions, no medicine for the pain or advice, didn't do anything but suggest weight loss surgery which I don't even qualify for because I'm not even that big. He was extremely rude, unprofessional and didn't help at all.

I came to an appointment with Dr Vora for options for my severe sciatic pain. He took time to review all my recent tests, listen to my many concerns and thoroughly answered all my questions with clear, compassionate, competent answers. He laid out my options in detail, giving me manageable steps to take to deal with my sciatic pain in view of my many limitations.

This man saved my Life. He was very professional and to the point. Him and his team fixed my back pain that I have been dealing with. I had tried everything, but this man did it. A discectomy on the left side L4-L5.

Had a craniotomy in 2015 which Dr Vora performed. He was very professional and spent a lot of time answering my questions, and getting me referrals to get other opinions/options if needed. Dr Vora is a very conservative doctor, which I appreciated during my complicated surgery. I would recommend him to anyone.

Although he is quiet (which may be misleading. ..as lack of knowledge? ) this is just his lack of arrogance that you see in some specialists. He gave me my life back. I was unable at time to get out of bed. Had my second surgery with him in December. Looking forward to getting on with my life.
