Dr. Andrew Nemecek, MD

Office visits are the only way to talk to the Dr. Doesn't really want to hear your concerns. Had a microdisectomy done and still have the same pain in my right leg. Told me his treatments are done and to refer back to workmanscomp. I'm only 36 and just want my back to feel better!

It was my first visit with Dr.Nemecek. He was prompt, professional and I immediately felt at ease. His explanations were easy to understand and his upbeat, caring personality was appreciated.

Due to my very rural location, health care of any kind is very limited. This leaves me to seek out quality health care on my own. I am in severe pain & need specialist care in addition to DM, PT, and NMD prescribed supplementation to address my physical injury. I wanted orthopedic care vs. a neurosurgeon. Due to what health insurance I have, I was set up with Nemecek. The drive to PDX is 7 hours round trip. Previous MRI 2yrs old. The first big red flag was the Receptionist stating pain medication is not prescribed by the doctor unless surgery is needed. What that told me is my intake paperwork was at least reviewed and I was being labeled from a horrific previous doctor experience that nearly killed me. Appt. was 10m. including dictation. Dr. stated to me since I don't have anything to look at this will be short. Previous MRI scans not requested apparently. I was mistreated, not listened to, not really able to ask ?'s, and booted out the door. I am a human being, not a #.

I saw Dr. Nemecek for a impinged nerve in L2/L3 area of the spine. Dr. Nemecek took the time to listen to my description of the various symptoms. It was also very clear that he had also reviewed both the x-rays and the MRI prior to meeting with me. Dr. Nemecek described what was causing my symptoms in a clear, concise and easily understood manner. He then answered all my questions in an equally professional way. Without any reservation, I can say that Dr. Nemecek was the right choice for me.

If I could give him more stars I would. He is an exceptional doctor - he takes the time to understand my preferences and explain my options. I have referred him to many of my middle aged friends with disc problems. In a word - exceptional!

I wrote the review below in 2019 and gave 5 stars, not sure what it only shows 3 stars...please upgrade I saw Dr. Nemecek for the first time yesterday. He came highly recommended from several other physicians. Now I know why. I couldn’t be more pleased and am so happy to have him on my team. The entire experience at Rebound was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond what i expected. They were warm, professional, efficient and really seemed to like and care about their jobs. Dr. Nemecek greeted me warmly as though both a friend and a professional. He was very thorough and examining me and explaining the findings of my exam. His education and training distinguish him as the kind of expert we all want on our team. He was very knowledgable, personable, warm and supportive. Really seems to love what he does. I couldn’t of asked for more and he exceeded my expectations by far. Thank you Dr. Nemecek and the great staff at Rebound!

I had a ruptured disc. As a physician myself, I understood the seriousness of back surgery. Dr. Nemecek reviewed all the options from injections to surgery. He explained the surgery and his approach: do what needs to be done, no more, no less. The proof is in the results. Surgery was done as an outpatient. I had no postoperative difficulties. My pain and muscle weakness from the rupture was resolved. I could not be happier with the approach and talent of Dr. Nemecek.

This was my first visit. I was very impressed with Dr Nemecek. He is very knowledgeable and explained everything Well. The office staff was very helpful. I am more than pleased with my new doctor.

I felt very comfortable and Dr. Nemecek took lots of time with me explaining every thing and making sure I understood. He did not rush me at all.

Dr. Nemencek is very knowledgeable but makes sure you understand everything he is telling you. Have to have two separate surgeries and am totally comfortable with him doing it.

He is my surgeon for a two back surgeries. Excellent doctor.

It took him two visits to figure out just how much pain I was in, but he was very caring and helpful. I recomend him to any one that is having chronic back pain. He did a great job and I would definity go back to him.

I had a large synovial cyst in my spinal canal and he removed it and fused two vertebrae. I was in misery and 8 weeks later (they told me that’s how long it would take) I was 99% back to normal. He is amazing and the nursing staff at the hospital were also. I feel so lucky my primary care person referred me to him. Every day I feel gratitude for him.

Surgery and medical care was top notch after the waiting period for insurance everything moved along smoothly. He is very personable and takes the time to answer all your questions.
