Just...no
Clearly has an agenda through which she filters the patients she sees. I sought care here after some clear rheumatological issues and severe fatigue. Severe fatigue was my #1 complaint, in fact. Her response: 'I don't have a magic want to wave unfortunately.' LOL--WHAT DR SAYS THAT TO THEIR PATIENT? Anyway, after doing my own research on my condition, low Vit D is very common which causes fatigue. I pass this info along to my PCP who orders a Vit D test. Test comes back extremely deficient and I get Rx of weekly vit D supplement. Fatigue improves DRASTICALLY. Gee, it's almost like if you just practiced basic medicine instead of trying to push chemo pills on patients, you might have better patient outcomes. Give it a try sometime, Yael. This was a useless visit and I hope to never see this astoundingly lazy, unprofessional provider again. I would discourage anyone from seeing her if you have a say in the matter. Also, DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH bc these doctors really don't know jack.

She told me if she had a magic wand...
My first visit with Dr Klionsky was good. However the second visit was not. She first asked me why I was there and her office is the one who sent a me a text to schedule me for a follow up because they had a cancellation. I advised the Pilocarpine affected my kidneys and she advised it would not cause back pain. Well it did cause excessive sweating which could affect my kidneys especially since I was already dehydrated in the first place. She also advised when she has a magic wand for health problems, she would let me know. Very unprofessional. The visit she called me in for was a waste of time as she advised she could not help me.

Communication and Compassion are her strong points
She was a breath of fresh air for me. She reviewed my medical history, actually read the extensive new patient profile. She talked to me so I could understand and asked a lot of questions. She covered everything she planned to do and why, very thorough. I am very optimistic that she will help me and look forward to good results in treatment.

She doesn't listen
I saw Dr. Klionsky today and she basically told me today that I do not have conditions that have been tested and noted in my records for years. She did this without a single test being performed, and then saying all she could do is refer me to a pain management clinic. She dismissed basically everything other physicians have said as well as myself. I do not recommend her at all. Will be getting referral to Duke.
