Needed surgery right away for ruptured disc. He came the next day, visited before operation. Very kind, and put me at ease. Surgery went well. Was walking same day. 2 weeks out, improving and very happy with results.

Dr. Asfahani is amazing. He is professional, knowledgeable, has a great bedside manner, and listens to his patients. I needed an urgent spinal fusion of my lumbar with bone grafts and a laminectomy and he spent hours in the OR making everything perfect. His staff and PA are also the best around. Hopefully I don’t need a neurosurgeon again any time soon, but if I do, he is the only doctor I will see!

I am 3 weeks post-op and I haven’t felt this good in years. Dr. Asfahani and all of his staff prepared me for realistic expectations of surgery by thoroughly educating me, explaining what my role was to achieve a successful outcome and informing me on what they knew of my condition and how they planned to correct it and relieve my pain. All of my questions and concerns were addressed and I went into surgery fully confident that I was in good care.

Dr Asfahani and his team were God sent when I herniated a disk and needed a microdiscectomy. They listened my concerns and really exceeded my expectations, making the entire experience before and after the operation as comfortable as possible.

Dr A is phenomenal. He has performed two extremely complicated surgeries on me with outstandingly successful results. With Dr A, together with Kaitlyn Kalamula (nee Bohus), I have received exceptional care every step of the way to recovery. Dr A and Kaitlyn K are incredible healthcare professionals and wonderful people. I am so grateful to them for their ongoing care and overall just so thankful that they responded to my emergency.

I met with PA-C Kaitlyn Bohus. My problem is unique and complex and I've met with many PAs in many offices and PA Bohus was definitely the best! She is a great listener, is highly intelligent and very knowledgeable. Dr. Asfahani called me the next day and we spoke on the phone. I appreciated that he wanted to follow-up with me and he apologized for being unable to be at our appointment. I felt that the providers were very sincere and listened very well. They were paying attention to what I said. They communicated well with each other. However, it seemed that they were just unsure of what to do and just throwing out some ideas (that I've already tried) and weren't suggesting anything new, even though my MRIs show where nerve impingements are. Ultimately, they didn't seem to want to perform surgery, which is all that was really left at this point. I decided to find another surgeon - I found a great orthopedic surgeon, I had surgery with the new doctor and that surgery was successful.

Dr. A has resolved my back pain from which I suffered for the past few years. He is extremely knowledgeable and conservative in his approach and diagnosis, effectively using the best procedure to correct the problem. Thank you, Dr. A!

Unsuccessful carpal tunnel surgery. Repeatedly told Dr. Asfahani's PA that there was a problem. His PA kept saying to give it time. I kept telling them that the serious pain was not going away. They sent me to physical therapy. Another physician in Dr. Asfahani's office did tests that showed my carpal tunnel condition was still severe. Condition continued to deteriorate. Months later, the PA finally agreed to see me. I was immediately sent to an orthopedic hand specialist. He performed surgery to try and repair the nerve issue. Dr. Asfahani never contacted me after surgery or acknowledged any of my concerns. Follow up care after surgery performed by Dr. Asfahani was dismal.

I had surgery before I went to see dr. Asfahani that did absolutely nothing for me he did a surgery on me and I feel so much better. He is very nice and caring and his assistant Patricia Freeman is amazing and as caring

Dr Asfahani is caring for my son after a motorcycle accident. He's compassionate, honest, highly skilled professional. Surgery has helped immensely in his recovery. His staff is wonderful, too.

Dr Asfahani came to the emergency room on his day off to examine my wife. After determining that surgery was required, he got the earliest operating room available. It happened to be the the next day, July 4th, again his day off. He performed the required surgery in less than 24 hours after examining my wife. His focus on doing what is needed for the patient is outstanding. He is also a terrific communicator in explaining what needs to be done. I give him the highest possible rating.

Wow, just wow. I just finished with my seventh spine surgery. This was my first with Dr. Asfahani and God forbid if I ever have to do anything else to my spine, I will never go elsewhere. This doc and his entire practice are absolutely the best at what they do. I came in to this procedure with a very glim outlook on my future with regard to pain management. We opted for a spinal cord stimulator and Dr. Asfahani placed all the equipment with precision and expertise. His bedside manner goes above and beyond and he stays in the journey with you from start to finish. I now have a brighter outlook on my future and believe I will be able to live a pain free life. I’m a lifelong horseback rider and knowing I will again be in the saddle means everything. Patricia, his P.A. Is the perfect compliment to Dr. A. She is kind, warm, and on top of everything, has this fabulous sense of humor. These guys are the real deal. From the clinic receptionist to their M.A., they are the best of the best!!

I met doctor asfahani because of a head trauma. He and his staff are genuinely caring. I ended up transferring to his office for my spine issues as well. I wish i would have known him before. I am a candidate for another spine surgery soon and will absolutely go no other place. Doctor asfahani is fabulous...he is beyond just the best option.

Dr. Asfahani literally saved my life. After my first spine surgery, it got a severe infection—like green. I was recommended to Dr. Asfahani who immediately put me in the hospital, ran the necessary test, and performed a second spine surgery two days later. I came out and did 180 degree turn around both physically and emotionally. On one emotional visit, Dr. Asfahani snd Patricia took the time to listen to me and encourage me even though it was longer than they had probably planned. I know this because when I was leaving through the waiting room it was full. That meant so much to me. Dr. Asfahani is the kindness and most compassionate physician I have EVER had, and at my age I’ve had a lot. I cannot sing his praises enough. Thank you for more than just helping to heal my back, but also in believing that I am going to get better and more mobile. It has helped me to believe in myself too.
