Dr. Giancarlo Barolat-Romana, MD

Honestly, I’m not sure why anyone would choose anyone else but Dr. Barolat and Justin to help with chronic pain. As patients for almost ten years, and having seen literally 30 doctors over 18 years, we have a lot of credibility in saying that both of them have the kindest bedside manner we have ever come in contact with. Of course, it almost goes without saying that they are the very best in their field. I mean, Dr Barolat gave up living in his own country (of Italy ) to pursue his dream of helping people decrease pain. Both he and PA Justin are highly skilled and so compassionate. We cannot say enough, but we are GRATEFUL for them!

Besides having the most experience and surgical expertise in his field, this man truly CARES and listens to you as a patient. He is kind and caring and literally takes on the most difficult cases and makes a difference for people suffering from chronic pain. He's saved me from 2 separate painful conditions and given me my life back. I can't say enough good things about him as a doctor and a human being. His office staff is fabulous as well.

Excellent doctor, pleasant and easy to work with, organized staff. Dr is exceptional in taking the time to listen to your concerns and discuss treatment options. Very thorough and did not feel rushed. Would highly recommend to others.

No one has had a REAL doctor until you meet Dr. Barolat and Justin. They are both BRILLIANT and actually listen. They will listen to you and your concerns and you have as long as you want to talk, ask questions and come up with ideas. They brainstorm with you and actually help as long as you are willing to fight they will be there fighting alongside you. Honestly I have been everywhere before being blessed with Dr.B and Paul from 2010-2012 and after we moved have been through who other states call experts, they aren't I travel and come back to Dr.B and Justin. Dr.B and Justin beat EVERY doctor one will ever have! Dr. Barolat is not just a surgeon he is the best neurosurgeon hands down and is like family as is his entire staff!!! I can say this. If you are having continual pain without relief, than do your self a favor and make an appointment to see Dr. Barolat. You have everything to gain and it has been a god sent for me. Dr. Barolat listens to you and then makes a plan that you and him work towards that goal. I have been seeing Dr. Barolat for over ten years and I can only say that without his help I would not be where I am today. So call and make an appointment you will be glad you did.

Those of us dealing with pain syndromes know it's like chasing a ghost. Dr. Barolat doesn't hesitate to take these time consuming mysteries head on. There's not always an answer but Dr. Barolat will try harder than anyone else! I've been a patient since 2014 with a stimulator but am seeing other providers for interventional mgmt. However, I wouldn't make any significant moves in my care without a consultation with Dr. B as I did recently. I'm not sure if Dr. B is a better person or a better doctor!! He means the world to me!

I have been to lots of doctors in my life, but I have never had a doctor take the time to listen to me and explain things to me like Dr. Barolat. He should teach bedside manner to other doctors. Best doctor ever!

Dr. Barolat and Justin are amazing! They really care about helping the patient. They take the time to listen and to find the proper solution. When you in pain having a doctor that care is a blessing. Nancy is amazing as well. She's always happy and going the extra mile to help. I highly recommend Dr. Barolat to anyone that have pain!

Dr. Barolat & Justin saved my leg, I was going through my amputation team already till I met with Barolat Neuroscience, I was able to have a sciatic nerve stimulator which helped me with the daily pain and get to the point I could stand it. Amazing group of people.

I had an appointment with Dr. Barolat to discuss trying another stimulator trial. I let him know that I needed extensive surgery involving fusion and scoliosis correction. He offered to review my imaging and reports. Dr. Barolat took extra time to explain the findings and offered his help. He was concerned and caring. Dr Barolat went above an ordinary appointment and helped me with difficult decisions. Not only is he an excellent doctor, but a compassionate doctor!

Dr. Barolat and his staff are the best in the business. I have been fighting chronic pain for the last three years. Dr. Barolat and his team have given me hope for the future and I am slowly regaining my life back. He is and excellent surgeon and a wonderful human being.
