My son is a surgeon and he originally chose Dr Roberson for us. He did an excellent job replacing my shoulder. Subsequently, my daughter broke her shoulder and was willing to wait a week in order to have him do it. I found him to be extremely smart, good at his job, and kind.

I think a lot of the thin skinned patients commenting below just don't have a lot of experience with surgeons. Dr. Robertson is a classic surgeon in that he is very self confident and doesn't suffer fools, but he is incredibly talented / is a leader in hip impingement research (which was why I picked him). 100% would recommend him to anyone needing hip surgery in DFW.

My PCP referred me to TMI for my shoulder repair and when scheduling my appointment, it was made with Dr. Robertson. I looked him up and found a small number of reviews of which about half were at least 1 star for various reasons. I went into the appointment with the mindset that I may have to walk out. The reviews were wrong and my wife and I left with all the information we needed to proceed. he was very cordual, friendly, and informative. The after care has been 1st rate. 5 Stars all the way.

Dr. Robertson is phenomenal! I highly recommend that you go see him. My teenage daughter has been dancing ballet pre-professional for many years, and she suffered from a hip fracture 6 months ago. It has healed, but she experienced pain when returning to her full time ballet regime. She has a cam impingement and torn labrum. 1st doctor was ready to perform surgery, but Dr. Robertson discovered there was more to it and exercised prudence. I feel more informed about what is going on and trust him.

Dr. Robertson operated on my hip in May. From my first visit with him, I felt confident with his diagnosis and treatment plan. As a former professional ballerina and now ballet teacher, I needed a Dr. who was going to help me get back to teaching again. He was patient with me as I asked many questions and he was extremely thorough at each visit pre-op and post-op.

Medicine is a business of taking care of people -Doesn't appear to even really like patient interaction. Is defensive and abrupt when questions are asked - not convinced of his skills --several months later post-op.
